I don’t believe in retirement plans, or reliance on financial advisors. I do believe in building your future and ensuring your freedom. And that it’s doable for everyone.
The 5 Day Weekend is not a strategy that’s reserved exclusively for the smart, clever, talented, connected, formally educated, or wealthy. It’s a strategy that anyone can apply.
Don’t let yourself make excuses. Don’t think, “Well, some people may be able to do this, but it won’t work for me.” I’m a good example. The only thing special about me is that I had a vision of freedom and a yearning for extreme adventure from a young age—and I followed through. I’m no smarter or talented than anyone.
There is no shortage of money on this planet, only a shortage of people thinking big enough.
You can do this. You have opportunities available to you that your ancestors could never have dreamed of. If your life isn’t working, the problem isn’t your life—it’s you. Don’t waste your life at this time in history making excuses and following the herd. Don’t follow parked cars and sit around waiting for opportunity—get off the couch and go create opportunity. Don’t wait for your ship to come in—go build it.
Freedom can be yours. The time is now.
In my next post, I highlight my thoughts on the necessity of keeping more of what you earn or gain from investments. I’d love to hear your thoughts in relation to the opportunities you have seen for gaining more. Thank you for sharing.
