In my previous posts, I introduced you to how the Idea Optimizer addresses the question of whether your idea will be economically viable if brought to the market. Here I look at how the Idea Optimizer addresses whether your idea integrates with the practice of your purpose.
Use these 10 questions to determine if this is a good fit for you.
On a scale of 1 to 10, select the number that best describes your response to each question:
- How much passion do the idea and its implementation inspire? (1 = No Passion, 10 = 100% Passion)
- What is the idea’s potential for profitability? (1 = No Profit, 10 = Unlimited Wealth Creation Potential)
- How many people would be impacted by the idea? (1 = very Few People, 10 = The Entire World)
- Does this idea complement other areas of your business activities? (1 = Limited Connection, 10 = Perfectly Complements)
- Are you able to delegate the work of implementing and maintaining the idea? (1 = Must Do All Work Myself, 10 = Can Delegate All Work)
- Can you implement technologies to automate the idea? (1 = No Automation Potential, 10 = Can Automate All Work)
- Can the idea produce additional spinoff products and services? (1 = No Potential for Spinoffs, 10 = Many, Easily Produced Spinoffs)
- Does the idea fulfill your personal or business mission? (1 = Goes Against My Personal or Business Mission, 10 = Fulfills Personal/Business Mission)
- Will the idea be profitable quickly? (1 = Profit May Never Occur, 10 = Profit Occurs Before Any Expenses)
- Do you have the capital (or ability to access the capital) to implement this idea? (1 = Capital Not Available, 10 = Idea Requires No Capital)
As mentioned in an earlier post, the risk of implementing an idea in the marketplace can be minimized when you “Win, then Play.” To do this, you generate output from the idea or business system (income, increased efficiency, cost savings, etc.) before you commit much input (time, money, resources, etc.).
I explore the idea of Mental Capital in my next post, and how this powerful tool can create “Win, then Play” scenarios for you.
I’d love to hear about your ideas – if you’ve gone through the Idea Optimizer, what were your thoughts on this aspect of the process, whether your idea fulfills your personal or business mission? Thank you for sharing.
